The middle part is not in all parts so attracive to me and harmonically not allways so fitting (to my conservative mind). I would love to hear that work with a real choir. The shifted sequences of the main theme (can it be called a theme?) is written in such a fantastic polyphone way as I have it seen only in late Mozart works! When you accompany the main phrase with the 1/16 notes in the strings in bars 39ff. I am just overwhelmed! Also the other themes are beautiful with a brilliant instrumentation.
