Parade And Dance Of The Drolls by Pierce Hacquard (2008-11-29)
MidiEngine: Microsoft Synth. Sequencer: Finale. MidiFont: None. A very, very early composition of mine. Complete with time changes and viola solo! Droll is a synonym of idiot, buffoon, moron, so on; "Idiots" was rough, "Buffoons" was taken, and "Morons" seemed sarcastic. Hope you enjoy.

Very sucessfull music in sibeliusmusic.com with 300 hits. Will be in IBLA Award 2005/6, Grawemeyer award and Masterprize award. Describe the hurrincane wind, passioned with full of technique. To describe the wind i used the triples in a cromatic sequence scale outside the key of the music.

The Storm, Part 2 by Matthieu Stepec (2005-01-26)
MidiEngine: sb live!. Sequencer: Encore 4.0. MidiFont: none. The second part of the Storm fantasy. Remember that both are a part of the same piece. Think of it while rating the development. I'm getting tired of unappropriate comments about 2nd or 3rd movements of concerti or sonatas.

Interland by John Elliott (2006-05-31)
MidiEngine: SB Audigy 2 (WDM). Sequencer: Sibelius 4. MidiFont: Merlin Grand. See: http://home.comcast.net/~ymir20mil/2006-Interland-index.htm for all information about this piece. Notes/sketches begun 10 April 2006. This score begun 22 May 2006. Titled, finally, 23 May: the title, which sounds like "hinterland", is a play on words. "Inter" means between, among, in the midst of, within, as well as mutually and reciprocally. This piece explores the world between tonality and atonality, separately and simultaneously. Completed 31 May 2006.

Euglab Elibed by Matthieu Stepec (2006-01-04)
MidiEngine: I dont know.. Sequencer: Sibelius 3.0. MidiFont: None. This is a piano piece. I just say it so that you know: if you hear bagpipe, taiko drums or square wave, you're wrong: you should hear piano. Pia-no.

45000 Fingers by Gene Smith (2005-04-01)
MidiEngine: Timidity. Sequencer: Scala. MidiFont: Merlin Grand. Does this depict ants working tirelessly, thousands of them searching, ever searching, for a crumb of bread? Probably not, but it lets me relate what's going on in here to the "racing ants" theme. For fonts, Campbell's Tuned Harpsichord or Wittenburg's Own are good alternatives. If you feel it is out of tune, it isn't. That's the way it is supposed to be and anyway there are 54 notes to the octave being used, in the ennealimmal temperament.

Impromptu, N°1 Op.10 In C Major by Matthieu Stepec (2004-12-25)
MidiEngine: SB live!. Sequencer: Sibelius 3.0. MidiFont: None. A little piece I wrote recently. Most of it is in 5/8, although there are a few very short changes (2/8, 6/8). At some places, it should be played rubato, which I didn't manage to render well, especially at the very end, where the rhythm should be much more straight (actually, it should be written with small notes, it's a kind of cadenza.). Enjoy it!

Hail Queen Beatrix! by Dave Albrecht (2006-03-06)
MidiEngine: SB Audigy. Sequencer: Personal Composer. MidiFont: I have no idea!?. Written for her Royal Highness queen Beatrix van Nassaue, queen of the Netherlands. In this piece I really atempted to convey the character of her majesty: Triumphant, critical, warm and genuine, pious yet very contemporary (although she has the biggest haircut I've ever seen). Apart from being a hommage to the queen I also wrote this piece as a pedal etude (but I don't recommend it to the unadvanced organist, footburn is never a pleasure!) especially the last part. Let me give portray how midi is conected to the actual stop list: Midi-organ - Tutti/Plenum/foundations '4/'8/'16 "english horn - Cor Anglais '8 (rather obvious....) "occarina - Swell foundations 4/'8.

MidiEngine: sb live!. Sequencer: Encore 4.0. MidiFont: none. the 1st part of a fantasy piece, l'orage. Composed in the alps, it was raining outside and I didnt know what to do. Please don't pay attention to the miserable midi performance, and look at the SCORE rather...
