1 01  Piano Concerto Op.215 No.5 (Eb Major) by Schroeterus (2007-01-09)
MidiEngine: Synthfont. Sequencer: Sibelius. MidiFont: Merlin Orchestra.
This concerto (called "Juvenile") - is descriptive since describe the children in three moments: Running (1o.mov - Sonata) Sleeping (2o.mov - Canzonetta) and Playing/dancing (3o.mov - Rondo/Sonata). A bit Cyclical, I tryed use the same cell of the first at second mov. (as a auxiliary theme, in another way) and on the third (changing his melodic acent). The "export to midi" feature of Sibelius not works well. For example, the tempo on Sibelius score is around 15 minutes. After convert to Mid become 19. So, please listen my concerto on Sibelius score (or mp3).

4 04  Piano Conc. Op.54 No.1 (A Minor) - III by Schroeterus (2005-11-03)
MidiEngine: Audigy 2.0 Zs. Sequencer: Sibelius 3, Sonar xl 2.0. MidiFont:Merlin Gm 1.2. Piano Concerto Op.54 No.1 (A minor) - Finale. This is one Rondo/Sonata that have more innovations if compared with the first moviment.
All is based in one musical cell:two 16 notes, and two 8 notes. Based in this musical cell I build all third moviment.(With one exception: the second, lyrical theme) Here the Piano part call for more technique skills, ( is more dificult, technically) and overall the music is more atractive under the listener that looks for a "new thinq". But What I made in the first moviment and in the second (my favorite with the first mov.) - that have innovations also, was intentional: Create again the spirit of classic/romantic invironment under my taste. So, them, the first moviment is more contained (restrained), and classical, the second is more lyrical passioned and romantic, and the third more agitato contemporary and technical. I hope all friends enjoy listen this concerto.I wrote this in 1987, with 27 years old.Later, in 1995, I trasncribe to Cakewalk and them to Encore. This is result for some revisions, the Sibelius version.

5 05  Piano Concerto Op.86 No.2 (G Minor) by Schroeterus (2005-12-19)
Piano Concerto Op.86 No.2 (G Minor) - The most important to me is melody and form. I look for the Classical Sonata form, severe, not too expanded, but controlled in a way of final of classicism and only in the early beginning of the romanticism. I wrote all sections to be easy to understand and define (see MARKERS). It's a cyclical piece since the basic two notes of the began of third movement derived from the first two notes (D - G) of the first, only the accent is diferent. (In the first movement, the accent is in the second note. In Finale is in the first) All thinqs must be subordinated to the strucutre. I dont look for acrobacy (demands more skills than opus 54) but looking for melody.

7 07  Piano Conc Op.54 No.1 (A Minor) - I, II by Schroeterus (2005-11-03)
MidiEngine: Audigy 2 zs. Sequencer: Sibelius 3, Sonar xl 2.0. MidiFont:Merlin Gm 1.2. Piano Concerto Op.54 No.1 (A minor) - I - II This is my first piano concerto I write in the way that, in the first look, you will thinq: The music looks very simple. But is not: I make the music appear "simple". Also about the way I write regarding the piano score.Looks easy but is not.The first moviment is my favorite (I love also the second mov.). The orchestra shows the first and second themes, before the piano (like chopin in his opus 11 E minor Piano concerto) Some innovations: I choose to put the developed section in the cadenza. In the second moviment, the first theme is in A minor, but later the orchestra play the theme and the piano do one lovely accompaniment, but now in A major.I wrote this in 1987, with 27 years old.Later, in 1995, I trasncribe to Cakewalk and them to Encore. This is result for some revisions, the Sibelius version.

10 10  Prelude The Sun by Gerd Prengel (2007-06-10)
MidiEngine: -. Sequencer: -. MidiFont: Merlin Gold. In this orchestral prelude the rising and the splendor of the sun, the tender light beams shining through the clouds, also its merciless power in a desert and finally the sunset at the end of the day is painted. Just as well the rising, splendour and fading of a man could be expressed.
